Made by marinating minced pork in Chinese five-spice powder and then carefully rolled with bean curd skin (soy bean skin/腐皮), it is delicious and flavourful, with a lightly crispy exterior and tender filling. Sold frozen for maximum freshness, it is easy to prepare – after defrosting, on medium heat, pan fry with a bit of oil for 6-7 minutes until beancurd skin is golden brown and crisp to your liking.
